A. A. Milne, one of the most notable British authors of children books, was the creator of the character of Winnie-the-Pooh, "The House at Pooh Corner" being the second volume of stories about him.
The author's son, Christopher Robin, is the central character of these stories inspired by everyday life of a children in the area of Sussex. The stories have been translated in many languages and have become a favorite of childern and adults all over the world.
"The House at Pooh Corner" features the colourful and entertaining adventures of Christopher Robin, Winnie-the-Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, the Owl, Kanga, little Roo, the Tigger and the other inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood.
Lucia Rikaki has translated Milne's abstract and episodic language, which captures a chilren's way og thinking and directs their observant gaze to every unexplored corner of the Wood.
